I've mentioned before how my Chinese class consists of kids 12 and under.
Today, instead of the normal girl class room assistant (爱心姐姐) we had some 20 something year old guy (爱心哥哥).
GOD, I HATED HIM.
So it was recess and whatever so I kinda just sit there cause I have no friends - -; And then he came to sat infront of me and he asked me what grade I was in. I hesitated and told him Grade 11. He paused... and then proceeded to laugh at me. He was like, "aren't you too old for this?.." As if that very fact hasn't taken its toll on my pride already ;__; Then he was like "oh you don't look like you're in grade 11, more like grade 8, but oh well, asians look young." YEAH DAMN YOU OLD MAN.
Then later on he asked me what I intended on studying in university and I told him history. Then he was like, so what do you plan on doing with history? Become a teacher? I don't think that job is suited for you. You don't look very sociable. THEN AT THIS MOMENT THIS REALLY LOUD KID IN MY CLASS VOICES HIS OPINION, AGREEING WITH HIM. "Yeaaaaaah! She's too quiet, she's not suited to be a teacher." I NEVER SAID THAT I WANTED TO BE A TEACHER... Then the kid began to say that I should be a librarian but said it was a bad job so no.
...
In reality I have no voice control. I'm either really quiet or I'm screaming out my part of the conversation. I just CHOOSE not to associate myself with these people so it really pisses me off how this guy can judge me after only knowing me for 2 hours! People always tell me to stop yelling, yadayadayada. I'm good at presentations, I talk loud when neccessary. Not in a classroom with little kids cause I have a real hard time talking to them. He kept telling me how much of an Asian failure he was and then about how he went to some college for Fine Arts. Then to the kids he was bragging about how much Valentine's chocolate he received in high school when he was still in China.
